About The Musical Director

NANCY MANN


Nancy was appointed musical director of the Haverfordwest Ladies Choir in January 1999. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, her career in the United States included the production of musicals and operas as well as teaching and performing.


In addition to Bachelor and Master’s degrees in music, she holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in opera production from the University of Texas at Austin.

Nancy moved to Pembrokeshire from Southport, Merseyside, where she was active as a private piano and singing teacher, as well as serving as the associate conductor of the Crosby Capriol Singers, a mixed-voice choir active in the Liverpool area.


Nancy sings with the St David’s Cathedral Festival Chorus and is secretary of the Welsh Association of Ladies Choirs.


Nancy lives near Llandeloy with her husband and son, two dogs and their flock of pedigree Ryeland sheep.
